India sets target of 415 runs for Bangladesh

Indian cricket team has set target of 415 runs for Bangladesh as they have declared their second inning with 413 runs on the board for loss of eight wickets on the fourth day of the first test match against Bangladesh at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday.

India resumed their inning today from overnight score of 122 runs for loss of one wicket and Gautam Gambhir (116) smashed hundred in fifth successive test matches. Gambhir needs one more hundred in the next match to equal the world record of scoring hundred in six consecutive test matches by D Bradman.

The night watchman Amit Mishra (50) smashed his maiden half century. VVS Laxman also played brilliantly who scored unbeaten 69 runs.

Mahmudullah and Bangladesh skipper Sakib al Hasan took two wickets each while S Hossain, R Hossain and S Islam chipped in with one wicket each.
